In one of the most iconic moments in The Hobbit film ‘The Desolation of Smaug’, Bilbo and the Dwarves escape the elven halls of Mirkwood via some barrels down the river rapids. This is our award-winning 'Armies on Display' board.
The display piece is split into two sections.
The first is built on a 2X2 board with the fortress wall and gatehouse. This is what we entered (for the first time ever!) into Armies on Parade in 2013, and we won Gold in the Epsom Warhammer store.
The second board is 2X4 and designed to be focused on the river running downstream that the dwarves have to travel against the odds of elves and orcs.
